Google triggers controversy over Persian Gulf

It seems that Google removed the name "Persian Gulf" from Google Maps without any explanation. It may be caused by Arab states . Iran insists that historical evidence shows the water has always been "Persian" and that the Gulf's identity is part of Iran's territorial integrity.
