London Mayor Boris Johnson said Britain was feeling the necessary tension before a big performance, as the clock ticks down to Friday's opening ceremony on the Olympic Park in Stratford, east London. London's Olympic security brought criticism since the city filled with missiles and uniformed soldiers hurriedly drafted in to make up for a shortage of hired guards The tenants fear that the missile base above their heads could make them the target for a terrorist attack. They argued that there has been a “disproportionate interference” with their human rights, and they were not consulted fairly and properly over the positioning of the air defense system
